Youth Programme at Jaipur (2) on 30 – 01 – 2010 The following members attended the Executive Council Meeting of IRHA held in the pink city of Jaipur at the Scout Campus, Ramniwas Bagh.: 1. Shri Radha Kant Saxena, In the wonderful ambience of the Scout Campus and a pleasant morning, which was both cool and sunny, the Executive Council meeting started with taking stock of the situation. Shri Vinod Jain, President, IRHA, took the chair. It was brought to the notice of the members of the Executive Council as well as the invitees which comprised Radicals from Jaipur and the young participants of M.N. Roy Essay Competition. It was brought to the notice of the participants that the IRHA had launched its Youth Programmme in the form of youth seminars. The first seminar was held on September 12, 2009 at S.S. Jain Subodh P.G. College, Jaipur. That was attended by some 300 students in the beautiful Hall of the College. Four girl students had come to participate from the nearby Kanodia Girls College. The second youth seminar took place at Sahu Jain College, Najibabad in western U.P. on November 11,2009 . Both the seminars turned into a roaring success by the enthusiasm of the participants. Then on December 9, 2009 a Youth Study Camp was held in Ahmedabad. This was attended by students who had been participating in the M.N. Roy essay writing competition. To participate in the camp 40 college students had come from all over Gujarat. Najibabad and Ahmedabad seminars were widely reported in the local papers. After the Executive Council meeting, Shri Vinod Jain along with Shri Brij Mohan Vyas, Prof. P.C. Mathur, Shri Mahipal Singh etc. interactected with Shri Ravindra Devra, Shri Shashank Sharma, Shri Madan Kumar Sharma, Shri Gopal Chowdhari, Shri Charan Gohil, Shri Ishwar Dwivedi, Shri Suendra Kumar Saini, Miss Anu Garg, Miss Bhavika Amulakbhai, Shri Mudassar Nazar etc. Simultaneously, a meeting of the federation of like minded journals took place. In the evening session the guests were introduced. They were:- Justice Manish Bhandari, working judge of Rajasthan, High Court Dr. Pushpa Motiyani, Head of the Deptt. Of Ahimsa & Shanti Shodh Kendra, Gujarat Vidyapeeth, Ahmedabad Prof. Nandkishore Acharya, a noted Hindi Sahityakaar, translator and research personal, originally from Bikaner Shri B.D. Sharma, President, IRI Shri Vinod Jain, President, IRHA Prof. K.C. Gupta Prof. R.P. Garg was conducting the programme of speeches and prize distribution. Shri U. R. Mohnot organised and conducted the programmes and made the necessary arrangements. It was largely due to his efforts that all the programmes on 30-01-10 in Jaipur were possible. A torch lighting ceremony took place followed by the speech delivered by the guests. The prizes were awarded to the winners of Essay Writing Competition by Justice Bhandari. |
